Candace asked me to create a box that would attach to her favorite OttLite(TM) and hold the following items:

  • Needles
  • Small scissors
  • Flat needle threader
  • One thread card filled with floss

We worked together to design the LampCaddy.  

LampCaddy Features:
  • Attaches securely to your lamp post with a hook and loop strap. (You select the color, pictured with grey/black.)
  • Non-slip material on the back holds it in place on your lamp post.
  • Scissors are securely held in place with a strong magnet.
  • Needles are held in place with the same strong magnet.
  • A pocket on the door holds your needle threader.
  • A slot for the floss card you are currently using (one floss card included with purchase).
  • A hinged door to close and keep your needles safely tucked away while not in use.

​Please note that scissors, needles, floss and needle threader are all shown for informational purposes and are not included with purchase.  One Floss Card is included with purchase.
Hook and Loop Straps
  • Pick a strap color (blue, purple or grey/black)
  • The LampCaddy is compatible with many lamp types including floor lamps as long as the diameter of the lamp post is 1.5 inches or less.
Floss Cards
  • One Floss Card included with purchase.  Additional Floss Cards available.  
  • I wrap the ends of my floss around the notches to hold the floss in place.  
  • I loop the extra strands of floss (2-4) onto the small circles to keep it neat.
  • I also like to trim the color number from the label and tape it to the edge of the floss card.
