Add additional boxes to your Hand Sewing Companion Set

Note:  There are two different Hand Sewing Companion sizes.  Please select the size that fits your Hand Sewing Companion.  The original Hand Sewing Companion has a long lid and a shorter lid.  The lids on the Long Hand Sewing Companion are both the same size.

Add extra boxes to your Hand Sewing Companion Set to make it fit your own personal sewing style.  I use different color boxes to keep track of different projects I'm working on (at the moment I'm using orange for Halloween and Green for Christmas designs.)

Tall Storage Box

The Tall Storage Box allows the most options for adding storage to your Hand Sewing Companion

  • Stores embroidery floss cards (the number depends upon how much floss is wound on each)
  • 1 large spool of Aurifil or similar sized thread
  • 2 small spools of Aurifil or similar sized thread and thimble or needle threader
  • 6 M-class bobbins stowed in 2 bobbin clips (a full skein of floss fits onto an M-Class bobbin)
    • 2 M-class bobbin clips are available at a reduced price with purchase
  • 9 Class-15 bobbins stowed in 3 bobbin clips
    • 3 Class-15 bobbin clips are available at a reduced price with purchase

Note that if you have the Long Hand Sewing Companion then additional items will fit into this box because it is slightly larger.
Short Storage Box

The Short Storage Box allows you to store your thread in a more compact space.

  • 2 small spools of Aurifil or similar sized thread and a thimble or needle threader
  • 9 Class-15 bobbins stowed in 3 bobbin clips
    • 3 Class-15 bobbin clips are available at a reduced price with purchase
