The tool was designed for use with wool mats to make it easy to use anywhere--even at your sewing table at a quilt retreat.

- 2" to 1"
- 2 1/4" to 1 1/8"
- 2 1/2" to 1 1/4"
- 2 3/4" to 1 3/8"
- 3" to 1 1/2"
- 3 1/4" to 1 5/8"
- 3 1/2" to 1 3/4"
- 3 3/4" to 1 7/8"
- 4" to 2"

To use, simply position the peg into the slot pointing to the size you want to fold. The example to the left shows 2.5 to 1.25". (This is the size that the tool is set to when you receive it.)
Use pins to attach the tool to your wool mat. (Pins not included with purchase.) |

Then load the fabric strip. There are slots on the top and bottom of the tool to help you load the fabric using a pin, if necessary.

Use pins to position the tool onto your wool mat. I like to position mine so I can pull the fabric away from me.

Press and hold the iron about 1 inch away from the tool while you slowly pull the fabric to allow the iron to set the fold. (If you touch a hot iron to the tool it will melt!)
