It's like having a "3rd Hand" to fold the binding in half while you iron.
This tool was designed for use with wool mats to make it easy to use anywhere--even at your sewing table at a quilt retreat.
Folds a 2 1/2" strip of fabric into 1 1/4" for perfect binding every time.
To use:
Load a 2 1/2" strip into the 3rd Hand Tool.
There are slots on the top and bottom of the tool so you can use a pin to help load the fabric strip.
Use a straight pins to securely place the 3rd Hand Binding Folder anywhere on your wool mat. (pins not included)
Place a hot iron onto the fabric and slowly pull it through the tool and under the iron to create your folded binding.
